Inspired by the TV show “Pushing Daisies” that aired from 2007-2008. The pie is an homage to the main character, a pie shop owner that can briefly wake things from the dead. The bee is in honor of the love interest and her affinity for beekeeping. The pie dish is inspired by vintage Pyrex designs and is a reference to the show’s bright, whimsical, and retro themes.
